Tellus Energy Solutions GmbH is an innovative start-up dedicated to exploring and developing natural hydrogen in combination with geothermal energy. Its mission is to provide decentralized, scalable, and sustainable energy solutions for communities, industries, and logistic hubs. Founded in February 2025 in Franconia, the company is headquartered in Hersbruck. <\/p>\n

Geological studies conducted by the GeoZentrum Nordbayern at the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg have revealed high levels of hydrogen in soil air measurements across certain regions of Northern Bavaria. Building on these findings in collaboration with the university, Tellus Energy Solutions is dedicated to exploring and harnessing the full potential of natural hydrogen in combination with geothermal energy as a clean and sustainable energy source for the future. As Germany’s first and only start-up with this concept, the company holds a significant knowledge advantage. This advantage is vital for realizing their ambitious plan to establish Europe\u2019s first production facility for natural hydrogen. <\/p>\n

The three founders and managing directors of Tellus Energy Solutions GmbH are Dr. J\u00fcrgen Gr\u00f6tsch, Peter Zaal and Dr. Barbara Steinbauer-Gr\u00f6tsch. All three have many years of professional experience in their respective fields. The combination of technical expertise and pioneering spirit is coupled with the desire to make a contribution to fighting the climate crisis. From North Bavaria<\/strong> to the World<\/h2>\n

Tellus Energy Solutions aims to unlock the full potential of natural hydrogen and geothermal energy. We are planning our first pilot project in North Bavaria, but the model is designed for global replication so that our solutions can be adapted to suitable regions and energy needs worldwide. Our goal is to develop hydrogen production sites that integrate seamlessly into local communities and provide low-cost, sustainable energy, while promoting economic growth and energy independence. <\/p>\n

Tellus Energy Solutions GmbH ist ein dynamisches Start-up, das sich auf die Exploration und die Entwicklung von nat\u00fcrlichem Wasserstoff in Kombination mit geothermischer Energie fokussiert. Ziel ist es, dezentrale, skalierbare und nachhaltige Energiel\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr Gemeinden und Industriebetriebe anzubieten. Gegr\u00fcndet wurde das Unternehmen im Februar 2025 in Mittelfranken, der Unternehmenssitz liegt in Hersbruck.<\/p>

Geologische Untersuchungen des GeoZentrums Nordbayern der Friedrich-Alexander-Universit\u00e4t Erlangen-N\u00fcrnberg ergaben hohe Mengen von Wasserstoff in Bodenluft-Messungen in einigen Regionen Nordbayerns. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Universit\u00e4t will Tellus Energy Solutions auf diesen Erkenntnissen aufbauen und das volle Potential von nat\u00fcrlichem Wasserstoff als Energiequelle der Zukunft erforschen und nutzbar machen. Das junge Start-up ist mit diesem Konzept bislang das erste und einzige Unternehmen in Deutschland und besitzt damit einen weitreichenden Wissensvorsprung. Dieser Wissensvorsprung ist essenziell f\u00fcr die Umsetzung des ehrgeizigen Plans, die erste Produktionsst\u00e4tte f\u00fcr nat\u00fcrlichem Wasserstoff in Europa zu realisieren.<\/p>

Die drei Gesellschafter und Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer von Tellus Energy Solutions GmbH sind Dr. J\u00fcrgen Gr\u00f6tsch, Peter Zaal und Dr. Barbara Steinbauer-Gr\u00f6tsch. Alle drei verf\u00fcgen in ihrem Bereich \u00fcber langj\u00e4hrige Berufserfahrung. Die Mischung aus fachlicher Expertise und Pioniergeist ist verbunden mit dem Bestreben, einen Beitrag zur Bew\u00e4ltigung der Klimakrise zu leisten.
